No snow in the Sierra’s right now, this time last year had plenty of snow. I’m getting a little worried about my annual February trip even though it is only January. No snow means no Horsetail fire falls and no next year’s Christmas card. There is sill a month to go so who knows, hopefully everything will straighten itself out and Yosemite will get snow.
This image was taken last year in February in an extraordinary year for snow in the Sierra’s. The storm has past from the morning’s beautiful snow showers into partly cloudy skies. It was very nice to be in a snow storm in one of the most beautiful spots in the country. I wish I could say I will be experiencing the same thing this year but I don’t know…
