In another part of Taylor Creek I photographed this Coyote feeding in the upper creek. Again , this was my first trip to Taylor Creek and although I never saw any bears feeding, I learned that the salmon provide food for the different local animal life.

To allow the Kokanee salmon to run up Taylor Creek to spawn, the Forest Service breaches the Beaver dams near the lake. The Forest Service then gathers the eggs and transfers them to a local hatchery later replanting back into Lake Tahoe. This cycle happens every year, hopefully, I can catch a bear or two feeding in 2015.
